Before you can welcome your new living space, it is essential to properly prepare the land.
You must set up a stable and leveled platform that will support the weight of your accommodation, especially considering the metal frames present in our constructions.
Make sure the land is cleared and accessible to allow the transporter to maneuver easily.
Platform Preparation
To validate the manufacturer's warranty of the structure and the proper opening of the joinery, it is imperative to create a stable and perfectly flat platform to position the accommodation. It can be done in several ways according to the installation plan provided by Nordic House.
Platform on stilts: Ideal for sloping or uneven ground, this solution guarantees a robust base thanks to a raised construction. This type of platform must be done by a professional to ensure lasting stability and compliance with construction standards.
Concrete base platform: Particularly suited for flat grounds, this option relies on strategically placed concrete blocks to distribute the weight of the structure. Here too, professional intervention is highly recommended to achieve a solid and reliable platform.
Delivery Steps
Transport Preparation: Once your order is confirmed, we plan the delivery date together. Our teams make sure everything is in order for a hassle-free departure.
Secured Transport: Our accommodations are transported by special convoy using trucks specifically adapted to ensure maximum safety throughout the journey, from the workshop to your home.
Arrival on Site: On the day, our teams arrive on-site at the agreed time. Thanks to our specialized equipment, unloading is done smoothly, without any risk to your accommodation.
Precise Positioning: Using cranes or lifting systems, we carefully position the accommodation on the pre-prepared platform.
Final Inspection: Once the accommodation is in place, our teams perform a complete check to ensure everything is perfect. All you have to do is settle in and enjoy!
In case of inaccessibility to the definitive location, we offer the option to acquire a mobility kit composed of a drawbar and two half axles as well as two wheels.

Unloading
Unloading is done by crane, an operation that must be carried out by a qualified professional to ensure the safety and integrity of your accommodation.
If the accessibility is restricted for the crane truck, craning can be done using a PPM type crane at an additional cost.
Allow 2 to 3 meters on each side of the truck to leave room for the telescopic legs.
